Child safety standards
Woboo by AlbaytWoboo has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming and sextortion. Any account involved is removed and reported.
How Woboo is built to protect young people
- Woboo is for people aged 13 and over. Everyone enters their birth year when they sign up, and people under 13 can't create an account.
- There is no public feed, no search for strangers, no followers and no public profiles. People only see each other after both accept a crew request.
- Places are only shared with accepted friends, and there is no live location tracking.
- Moments disappear 12 hours after they end.
Reporting and blocking
- Anyone can report a friend or a moment in the app, from the moment screen or their crew list, and block anyone at any time.
- Reports go straight to our safety team, and we review child safety reports first.
- You can also email [email protected] at any time.
What we do
- We remove content and ban accounts involved in CSAE. Banned accounts can't use Woboo again.
- We report apparent CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to the relevant regional and national authorities, as the law requires.
- We keep reports for up to 90 days for safety review, or longer when the law requires it.
- We cooperate with law enforcement requests made through valid legal process.
If a child is in immediate danger
Contact your local emergency services first. You can also report online exploitation to NCMEC's CyberTipline at report.cybertip.org.
